Warranty terms
This warranty applies to products from manufacturers sold at Scanspace store. The warranty applies only to the standard products and materials of the product range. For special orders, such as customized products, where the customized feature is not included in manufacturer’s standard range, no warranty is granted or agreed on a case-by-case basis.
On the basis of the warranty, manufacturer is liable for manufacturing and material defects that have occurred during the warranty period if they have been notified no later than three (3) days after the defect was discovered (or should have been discovered). The customer is obliged to inspect the product immediately after receiving it in order to distinguish from the warranty any transportation damage. The product should only be used in the environment and in the way it is designed for.
The warranty always requires that the product has been used appropriately as such product is intended for and that the furniture care instructions have been followed.
Warranty limitations
Warranty not covered:
– normal wear, elongation, deflection, discoloration or bruising of the product
– errors caused by the customer’s own transport, installation or storage of the product
– defects or damage caused by improper operation, poor maintenance, humidity or abnormal temperature;
– errors caused by non-compliance with instructions for care, assembly or use of the product
– any errors caused by sharp objects, as a result of a twist, as a result of a fall, as a result of an abnormal impact
– other defects, damage or effects resulting from an event or action beyond the impact’s control or otherwise beyond its reasonable control.
The guarantee is not enforceable in case of:
– improper use of the product or traces on the product which lead to the presumption of improper use of the product;
– the product has been modified or repaired by a person or legal entity other than the impact
– the inspection mark of the product has been removed or removed, erased, edited or made impossible to read.
In addition, the warranty is not enforceable if the product is incorporated into a product manufactured by another or if the warranty period is shorter than that of the attached product.
The warranty does not cover indirect damage due to product defect or damage caused by the use of the product. Supplier is only responsible for repairing/replacing the product. Supplier will not compensate for the damage caused by the delay in the warranty delivery.
