Boka Verde – stylish Scandinavian interior concept for an apartment hotel in Montenegro

Boka Verde is a new premium residential complex in Tivat, Montenegro. It is located opposite the Župa Park, a few minutes from the sea, the city center, and the Porto Montenegro yacht marina.
Northern style in interior design
The concept of the Boka Verde residential complex was designed as a ” city in the park” combining modern architecture, privacy, and a large green public spaces. The complex consists of 50 residences in 10 low-rise buildings. The architectural concept was developed by the international bureau Semrén & Månsson and was inspired by the nature of Montenegro — the combination of sea, mountains, and greenery.
Scanspace designers were commissioned to create simple, comfortable apartment interiors in a hygge-inspired style. The result is a calm and welcoming living environment, where Nordic aesthetics, natural materials, soft textures, and thoughtful functionality come together to enhance everyday comfort on the Adriatic coast.
Furniture and Décor Solutions
To bring the hygge concept to life, Scanspace selected furniture, lighting, textiles, and décor that emphasize simplicity, comfort, and natural warmth. The interiors are based on a calm neutral palette, tactile materials, and clean lines, creating a sense of balance and relaxation.
Special attention was given to functionality and everyday comfort. Compact yet spacious storage solutions, comfortable upholstered furniture, practical dining areas, and carefully selected lighting scenarios make the apartments suitable both for permanent living and seasonal stays.
Natural wood textures, soft fabrics, muted colors, and minimalist forms create a cozy Nordic atmosphere while remaining perfectly aligned with the bright Mediterranean setting. This combination gives the apartments a refined, contemporary character and makes them especially attractive for residents and investors seeking a premium lifestyle by the sea.
